if you have a cloudy night ont he full moon and the moon is covered real good the deer will stay bedding. they will be out in the early morning.. if the moon is wicked bright they will most likely be feeding at night and bedding by the time you wake up.
here on bright full moon mornings the deer are still feeding in the fields until just at legal shooting times. On clouded they tend to move about all day feeding on browse bedding several times.
i am going to hunt between 9-12 this morning and then the afternoon hunt if i was hunting near a field i would sit at daylight like lamehawk i think they will still feed till right at daybreak then move to cover just my .02
thanks for the replies always glad to have other hunters opinion
thanks Toby
Went out yesterday and saw about 12 does browsing early. Then nothing till 11 and then saw a few more till 2:30 and then dead. Hunt all day but I think 10 - 3 is the time with a full moon on a clear nite. I'll be out tomorrow and will let you know what I see.
Alot depends on how far they have to travel for a daytime feed. if food is abundant and within thier bedding they wont have to move more than 10 feet you may never see them
