Spent all day in the stand, didn't see a thing. Not a squirrel, not a tweety bird, not even a stick bug, nada, Anybody see anything today ? I think the full moon and the NE wind were the double whammy.
i hunted mid morning didnt see anything hunted this afternoon and nothing again.but 2 bucks were killed late this afternoon on our club
my boss shot at a nice buck this afternoon in avon park, he said it was chasin does. he hit it, but not a good shot. hair, chunk of skin and fat, but no blood. he said he checked his gun and its on, he said he probably got the fever. said if he could reload a black powder rifle faster, he could have got off a second shot, but it didn't happen.
i jump a hog about 630am going to my setup. he was like 30 feet from the tree.
