More kids in the woods hunting is good. Daddy taking them just to shoot what he wants is no different than it is now. Laws and rules just work for the honest guy. FWC cant be every where all the time. For the 16" rule I have shot a several bucks over 120" and none are over 15" wide. All I am trying to say is watch what you ask for.

Thats what I was implying in my previous post. Just didn't word it right

maybe 16" is a little too optimistic for here right now but look at how rack size has improved in Texas and other states. I wouldn't mind some of my license and ammo tax $'s to go towards buying some studs and breeding stock does. keep them safe and reproducing and slowly introduce the surplus into the wild, might help speed things up and save the state bundles due to hunters going to other states and spending money there. win-win for all imo.

No restriction.

That crap is for leases not public land

I don't want deer over 3 years old. I eat all of mine. old deer mean bad liver and there really not as good as young ones.

I like to see size restriction on hogs no little ones at least 15 inch to the shoulder

i am against but then again i have never shot a deer. too many rules just prohibit honest hunters from being succesful, while poachers of the swamp and richloam will just keep killing the young uns.
