Time to go fish are waiting
OK now I remember where I heard about the practice of shooting the deer before it knew it was being hunted, and was not scared and adrenaline and hormones weren't pumping. from a member of a crew of old timers that took our crew of beginners under their wing and taught us pretty much everything they knew, and he was a butcher with no axe to grind against deer doggers as it wasn't legal in N.Y. they were a group of about 5 and each had his specialty one the butcher, another the cook, a mechanic, an electrician and a bussines man. they hunted together for like 50 yrs and sadly we met them towards the end where every year or two another died until all gone. having no hunters in my family I was lucky to have met such a group. was everything they told us true/correct probably not but thats ok most was. gotta remember that was the early 80's and things thought true then are now considered myths and falsehoods. they probly learned them from their fathers/grandfathers.
