I'm hoping to come get some pheasant and quail with you this season. I've had 3 chances to hunt pheasants, and each time something has screwed it up so I couldn't go.
First time was in Korea, but I tore ligaments in my thumb the weekend before the hunt while trying to snow ski. A Florida native ain't supposed to snow ski!
While stationed in Las Vegas, a guy from Colorado was gonna take me to his uncle's ranch. Then the Air Force shut down our squadron and moved me to Mississippi!
Last year a guy was going to take me to his company's annual pheasant hunt in South Dakota on the CEO's ranch. But business dropped and that was the first time in 30 years they didn't have the hunt!
So I want to kill me some pheasant, and my three strikes are done, time for another at-bat!
