Yeah thats why I said it depends on the hog. A sow that just had babies is gonna be way less! And same with a sickly sow or boar. But on average 25-30% is about spot on for bone out meat. I weigh about a dozen a year that way and it's always about that %

I did give it to him, at least what that little piggy deserved! Now since then Crock has progressed nicely to larger and more respectable swine, so he gets nothing but respect for them! And hey, if I had been out and had a chance to hunt and missed or killed something smaller (I think that's called a "fetal pig"), I wouldn't say a word.
Soon as things come together where I can start hitting the woods again, I'll give y'all plenty of chances to make fun of anything I do or don't get!

Man, you just don't know HOW ready I am to spill some blood! I ain't had a chance to have something in my sights in over 3 years. Money, time, health, family, etc. are all coming together, though, so soon, bro', soon!
