alot depends on just how concealable are you talking about? if you want to be able to carry in sweat shorts and no shirt with a thunderwear rig, it's possible but size and wt have to be kept at a minimum. you can carry a fairly large auto and 4" revolver pretty well in a iwb holster and an untucked shirt. imo I want something powerfull enough to put someone down hard, who may be jacked up on meth, wearing heavy/leather clothes and a bmf to boot. for me my bottom rung on the power level is 9mm, the 45acp and 357 are best imo with 40cal in between, yes theres the 357 sig but good luck finding ammo if tshtf. if you can find an older s&w mdl 10 with 2-4" bbl in 357, grab it or let me know. also is this gonna be your primary gun or back up? if a back up I'd choose a 5 shot hammerless revolver due to reliability and if engaged hand to hand already it is hard to wrest away from you or block it's being fired, plus with the sp 101 you could bash someones brains in with it, it's that strong/heavy

www.budsgunshop.com

a huge line of Guns, rifle and hand, also has ammo.

they ship guns to FFL near you. I have bought 2 guns from them this way, and happy with them each time.

Saved some $$$$ too!

Glowworm, you think they had better prices than the deal you can make at a gun show?? Just curious as I was going to the Pensacola show Sat to look for a concealed carry gun. Thanks Frank

Depends on who you are buying from.

If buying from a gun store at a gunshow then yes I think buds gunshop can be better, if not the same.

If buying from someone public, perhaps not, there you can usually talk them down on price, sometimes not, but your chances are better with the public.
It all depends on how bad they want to get rid of the gun I guess.

I liked budsgunshop for a couple reasons. Huge inventory, good pictures of the gun, quick and easy shipping and payment. And I could buy when I wanted, and not have to wait for a gunshow or sale at the local gun store. In fact I think local guns stores are way over priced. But these are just my opinions and your mileage may vary.

Good luck
