Great deal!
I picked up my Sp101 today. Love it. Its heavy enough to enjoy shooting and still light enough to carry on occasion. Its feels like something that will last many lifetimes. Thanks
Do yourself a favor and get a set of wolf springs for it, I think they are 12 dollars at Midway USA, have a gunsmith put them in and you will notice a significantly better trigger. I think I put the 9lb spring in, they come in a set with a 12, 9, 7 or something like that. They make a big difference. A Meprolight night sight and you will be ready to go. Great gun, carry mine everyday.
What holster do you use?
I've owned 2 different sp 101's the first in 3"bbl that I had all tricked out, ported, hammer bobbed,action/trigger lightened and polished and dull matte finish. and the second was a stock snubbie with bobbed hammer and that one got alot of field use with 2-snake shot and 3 hot 180 gr hp's. imo it's the only snubbie thats gonna hold up to full/hot loads and not be too uncomfortable to shoot, a little heavy but very concealable. you made a good choice and it will serve you well.
I realy preffered the 3" bbl but if you ever had to use it against a human you'd be better off with it as stock as possible, thats why I ended up selling it but man was it sweet, and loud, with the porting and that extra 1/2" of bbl realy makes a big accuracy differance imo. I had the 357 redhawk and 3" sp 101 both tricked out to match from Jack weigand editor and competition shooter/gunsmith of guns and ammo mag
