I believe there was an ordinance passed within the last year or so that prohibits drs from asking those questions any longer

Gov. Scott signed it, but a federal judge said it violates the doctor's right to free speech, and blocked it from being enforced. http://www.ama-assn.org/amednews/2011/09/26/gvsc0926.htm

So the doctor's "free speech" trumps my right to privacy and 2A freedoms? Don't think so! When did it become a doctor's responsibility to counsel anyone on safety? If the patient wants such info, they can ask about it. And unless a doctor is a certified firearms instructor and avid supporter of the 2A, I don't want to hear their thoughts on what constitutes gun safety!
