Well with crap like this you can see the way this country is trying to head. If ol' knuckle head gets re-elected then shame on us for not standing up to it. An if he does you'll see more of this kind of stuff as he and his mindless drones continue to erode our basic freedoms...

when youre in the med field and going to someones home with dementia/depression, it's kind of a good thing to know, not popular I know. I always was strapped (ccp), didn't tell anyone and would have been fired on the spot if anyone knew. but REALLY this is FL you gotta assume theres a gun somewhere in the home. are you gonna believe a liar if you ask him if he's telling the truth?
the one thing i hated about jersey. No handguns.. I mean they make it so hard to get.. For just a long rifle permit you have to go through the same process as a fl cwp. But then you can buy any long rifles.. when you get that permit (If your letter is granted, which never happens you will receive) 1 hand gun permit to be used in 90 days from the day you get your long rifle permit. (not everyone gets this permit with their long rifle permit). You have to meet personally with the sheriff of your town and get him to personally sign it. You have to write a letter of WHY you want a hand gun (you CANNOT SAY FOR PERSONAL PROTECTION) then once he approves that then you can go buy a handgun. 1 Handgun PER PERMIT. And theres no concealed carry. And if you have it in your vehicle you have to have the handgun locked int he trunk and the clips and ammo separate locked int he glove box and you have to be going to or from a shooting event.. SUCKS!!
Sucks cause all the drug dealers and gangsters got guns and we are not allowed to protect ourselves. You have no idea how many times i got mugged or my friends got stuck up by the "stick up kids" in newark. Sucked. you just gave up your chain or whatever you had and went about your business. Crazy.
IN florida you don't have that much of that .. Wanna know why? Because when you pull out your gun to stick me up, Im going to pull out my .44 and stab your brain with your nose bone before you even get a chance to tell me your a punk and are sorry.

I was thinking along these same lines.
More kids die in bathtub drownings each year than die from gunshots. So we should remove all bathtubs from the home. And when I say "kids", I mean children under the age of 13. When they talk about "children" killed by guns, they include anyone up to age 19! So this includes a lot of drug dealers and gang bangers.
