the doctors here already ask parents if there are firearms in the house. it is none of their damn business what is in my house. i was asked a couple years ago by the doc that and i answered yes without thinking, then after i left i was kinda pissed cause he snuck the question in on me, in small talk almost like he was shootin the shiz with me. i am sure they are told to ask it, if asked again i will certainly give a different reply.
I believe there was an ordinance passed within the last year or so that prohibits drs from asking those questions any longer

If I recall this legislation caused a big stink amongst the medical crowd, the entire medical community was up in arms "you can't legislate the patient doctor relationship they cried"....he** they have been doing it for years with insurance, medicare, medicaid etc....I am glad they continued to push it
I educated-exposed-my kids to guns at a very early age. this took the mystery out of them. there was no sneaking around to play with them. they went to the range, hunting and cleaning the guns. never a problem. if my kids were still at home and DCF showed up-it would be take a hike for them. being in LE I was never anti-gun. i just treated everyone like they were armed. this is BS!!
part of a right to bear arms is the knowledge to use them. education is key. i was exposed to guns at a young age, so have my neices. i have never thought about using again for purposes other than putting food on the table or self defense. this is how i was taught, and how i feel about it to this day. this info is a line of bs from people who falsify statistics.
