if you want to try a millett sight I have a spare rear sight and 5 diff size front ramps you can try. they slide right into a dovetail, I had one on my mdl 94 top eject and it worked and looked good when I could see better. gunboy has it now and seems to like it. they don't have a whole lot of adjustment so you need the front sight to be the correct height so you stay within your adjustments

I love the Millet sights on the .375 Winchester 94 I got from Nacho.... That's what I would go with if I was to ever change the sights...

I believe I have located some Millett type sights (optic planet), I am reading that the white outline rear and blaze orange front seem to be the most popular. Can anyone back this up and what is the correct method for measuring the front sight for replacement?

the mfg will recomend a certain size front and rear for the particular gun,but each person is different and you may have to try a few diff front blades before you get it right (thats why I have an assortment and your welcome to us them to decide which one you realy need instead of buying severall like I had to). start with the rear sight first it is the most expensive. keeping adjustment at a neutral position make sure it is the right height when shouldering the gun, close eyes shoulder gun then open eyes if you are not seeing it clearly or have to raise up or down it's not right, then go for the front sight try 2-3 shots and see where they hit but don't touch adjustments yet. don't worry about left to right yet work on vertical first. when you find the front blade that gives the closest accuracy go with that one, you can fine tune later with elevation adjustments. then drift the rear sight lightly with a punch to get as close as possible then fine tune with windage and elevation settings on the sight. some locktight will help the sights from moving in the dovetails if knocked around. I have a rear sight from a sig 226 that is .430" I believe that you can have as well as severall front ramps, you are welcome to them but if you arent going to use them please return and I will eventualy use them or find someone that will.

I appreciate the offer and I will take you up on it. I am not afraid to admit I am not entirely comfortable putting these on myself. The rear sight looks pretty straight forward but I am concerned about the front sight. I know I do not have the neccessary tools to do it myself. I will shoot you a pm with my address, let me kow how you want to handle shipping as I am more than happy to pay for it going back and forth.

Perhaps I can get with Gunboy when he is back up on this side of town.
