One more thing I need to try up in Ga....anythings better than buying corn at 10.00/bag

I've heard they eat it but ain't it like 15 bucks a bail? If I'm right that would turn out costing way more than corn. But one plus would be it shouldn't attract hogs ,that alone is worth me trying it.

You may be correct...had no idea it was that expensive....will check at the feed store next trip up......

Ya its pricy and i wouldn't put out a full bale unless you know the deer are going to tear it up. It will waste fast on the ground. But im going to grab a section at my rents cause they feed it to their horses and see if anything eats it.

I've seen them even eat cheap hay laid down for erosion control but I would think that corn or something higher in carbs would be more of an intial attractant.

I've watched them eat white cotton. They'll eat anything if they feel like it.
