Hey I got Sportsmans guide today, and they got the insulated ones on sale like I have
Yeah, I only wear those when it gets down to freezing. We get a lot of 20's and even a few teens in N. Florida. I refuse to have cold feet. I got the 2000 gram ones
Best invention ever is the moisture wicking socks. You can get them at walmart for about $4/pair. I ordered some from cabela's. Worth every penny. They pull moisture away from your foot, which keeps it warmer
I have always either wore Rocky snake boots or rubber boots tried the muck boots last hunting season, I wore them about 80 days in the field and they are just like they were when i took them out of the box. They are comfortable also.
just able to fit my calfs back into my lacrosse burly boots. they have a good bob sole so don't slip alot, but will track mud all over a house, mine are the insulated ones, def not needed down here. if water does go over the top it won't make it past my calf. im sure some parts are snake proof but others ar kinda thin, if worn only in woods they should hold up along time, not the most comfortable but good enough to get from truck to stand.
