1 simple wet patch before you leave the range makes cleaning so much easiier. it's like leaving dirty dishes sitting in the sink, that much harder to clean. which reminds me of a genetic adaptation of women to have smaller feet than men, it allows them to stand closer to the sink and stove for cleaning/cooking. larger ears, a flat head and re-tractable teeth are still in the works.

While on the subject.... I see a lot of people dip their brass brush into the solvent then brush the barrel with it wet. I've been told this is a no-no. Any thoughts? I have always used the brush inside the barrel dry.

I've done it both ways. It really depends on how fouled the bbl is. Nacho? What do you think?
