There is a pawn shop in seffner that had an axis 308 as well. about the same price, but they will usually come down 10-20%
Ok I found a savage axis in 30.06 camo. It has a bushnell ss scope does not look like the stock one that comes with them. 1 owner looks brand I could not find a single mark on the gun. $350 no wait. Opinions?
Oh I also found a russian sks with 20 round mag and scope for $450. I dont know anything about it other than it looked cool and I didnt have enough $. If anyone is interested in that I will give you the store info for you to check out.
I have a couple savage rifles and love them all. Very accurate right out of the box and very durable. I have the Model 10 in .308, it came with a Nikon Prostaff BDC scope already mounted and I couldn't be happier with that package. I have not shot the Axis yet but I have heard some pretty good things about them, especially for the price. Try the Ruger American as well.
