I cant find a scoped 308 anywhere in pinellas. New or used. Found a 3.06 in my price range but Im kinda set on 308. Any one have any ideas of where to look?
your price range, action prefferance? would a 7mm08 work? G.B. has a rem mtn rifle in 7mm08 with the nicest trigger I've ever felt, worked or not and a blr takedown in 308 that shoots better than any bolt I've seen. both with good scopes, but they wouldn't be cheap and 1 of us would have to sit on him while the other twisted his arm. great caliber choice. good luck.
Every gun shop in town. I have been getting good deals at gun shows too, but the only way to do that is to take trade guns that you are into at the right price.
$350 or so, bolt action. I have only hunted with 12 gauge so all new to me. I did just find a savage axis in newport ritchey for $349 new with scope. I know the scope will not be great but I can up grade later. How would the savage be? looks like a fair price.
new retail guns aren't going away and for 350$ you will get a pos scope and mount. if you're not in a hurry keep searching imo, there are sweet deals out there if you keep looking.
