I was told this by a hillsborough cnty deputy. You guys down south with the large cattle ranches probably get to play by another set of rules. We are too close to Tampa. just going by what they told us.
I'd strip them down to their tighty whiteys and chain them to a pine tree for a few nights, put a bottle of water just out of reach.Maybe gouge out their eyes with a stick, and chop off their hands.
My place is up infarm country,N.Y in the catskills. I only get to go up 2 or 3 times a year during the season. A few years back , i had shot a deer on opening morning. I was gutting the deer near my road when 2 guys in a pick up come driving throughh from the neighbors property. The drove right up to me. Now here i am with blood up to my elbow, dreanched in sweat. and a bloody knife in my hand . the guy had the stones to pull up and tell me that i was treaspassing.I went ape sh&@.i grabbed my, rifle , racked a round and proceeded to explain to the guy that he was on my property and if he wasnt gone in 30 sec. i would add him to my gut pile. He hailed ass. The locals know that a lot of us have property but live in the city so they feel like they can go wherever they want. my neighbor had several game cams and stands stolen. they broke my gate down and i even had a guy come in and cut down a bunch of my hard wood trees (cherrry, used to make furniture)theres also a bunch of guys who snow mobile all through my place during the winter. i may have to tie some wire across those trails
it is a damn shame what law abiding folks have to go through, i.e. time and expense, to keep people out of somewhere they shouldn't even be.
we are to point that one of us drives this property everyday. always at different times. but also got something set up to let us know when somebody drives through the gate.
