Some timber companies will NOT budge on price, regardless of time of year. I have literally seen parcels sit un leased rather than them take a lower fee

The guy we leased from in Fanlew was $12.25/acre..take it or leave it, and if you haggled price he would cut you off and tell you there is NO haggling, he would let it sit before he leased it at a lower fee/acre

In this day and "new" age, he'll have alot of unleased timber land and still have to pay the taxes on it.

Found out today, one of FL's largest Landscape Companies just went out of business, they were in the top 30 most susccessful landscape companies in the US company in 2008... Villa and Sons!!!! Auction was today in Winter Garden!

Another one bites the dust.... Have you seen what the price of pulp wood and timber has gone down to?
They'd be lucky to lease the land at all..

There was a big company here in Tampa that went belly up recently (Scapes).

My best friends-friend built it from scratch and sold it for big money a couple years back. Last month they parked their trucks and locked the doors
