More specifically, how is the hunting up around the FL/GA border in Baker and Nassau county. Does it get better the closer you are to the river? Are the bears running wild in this area as well?

I hunted Baker last year. There were quite a few bears in the area. We had plenty of deer and a few nice shooters as well but they seemed to be nocturnal. We were also covered up with turkeys.

I did get a chance to take a look at a lease over the weekend. Glad the rain held off for the 4 hrs we were there. Property had a nice mix of hardwood fingers, clear cut and +15 yrd old timber.
