I like bdu pants and long shelve dark colored t-shirt or hoodie if its getting cold.
I wear it out because I decided that I would not be wearing my street clothes into the woods and get them messed up. Used to wear it playing games like manhunt (basically hide and seek just a cooler term) when I would go camping with friends, back in high school. I usually see people wearing jeans and a long sleeve flannel. Like I said I wear it so I can ruin those in the woods/swamps, instead of what I wear everyday.
What's the old saying?
"Hooks catch fish, lures catch fisherman"...
I feel camo patterns are designed to catch the hunters wallet. They make these patterns now to look just like a bush or a tree, but when you stand away from it, your eye blends it together and creates a blob. I can pick someone out wearing Mossy Oak a mile away
Anything just to break up your outline is all you need. Worry more about your face. A headnet or beard is more important than camo
the locals upstate N.Y. could always tell the out of towners cuz their camo patterns matched. I like the ap realtree as it's more slimming and doesn't make me look as hippy as the mossy oak. Floyd Turbo/Elmer Fudd red and black wool works great.
I wear camo cuz it makes my ass look good.
