I am duck hunting Sat, Sun, Tues and Weds morning, I am driving from the swamp to the airport to go to california to chase Mouflon, Dahl and marino sheep trying to anchor another 1-2 towards my slam. Come back the following wednesday to run up to my buddies place in Ga to hunt WT as they go into the secondary rut, then back for 11 days or R&R/ Duck hunting. I would like to get together with someone if they want to get out duck hunting.
What are you all doing as we go into the final stretch
camping till the end of small game in march. That's ever weekend but Christmas and new year. I am a family man again so i cant hunt ever week end.
Then a break have two turkey permits now and this should bring us into cobia time.

I have scaled back probably down to about 100 days a year hunting fishing or out boating now. This is an estimate I stopped logging them when i remarried. Last log book showed 156 days out. How did i have enough time to meet her and date her- oh yea i made her come along. She endured and she has the fever now.

gonna try to hunt gs a few mornings and afternoons. and got my ml permit for upper hills last weekend of jan. then small game season on the weekends.
I was supposed to be up in GA today to hunt with my dad, my son and my brother through Sunday, but that got cancelled due to dad being in the hospital. Good news, he went home today!
So now not sure what I'll be able to do. Might go visit an old Air Force buddy who lives on a farm in southwest GA and do some hunting there. He said there's deer and hog all over.
BigJack, if you want some company on your duck hunt when you get back, PM me and maybe we can arrange something. I've never shot a duck, went hunting for them once in Louisiana when I was 15. Had fun, but it was warm and the ducks were a mile high.
