I had to empty my feeder for a month, no corn and he went some where else . So far three months and he hasn't been back. knock on wood.
The feeder is a little low, about 7' off ground. Think he can reach it? How did you deal with your little blackie?
I quit filling the feeders and hand spread after a month or so. I noticed on cam that when the bears would camp at the feeder for a few days I wouldn't get any deer on cam for a few weeks. Good luck with it. I won't have to deal with it next season. :rockon
I think the game responds to hand spread corn better anyways. I am probably not going to run feeders this coming season
Up along the Wekiva River the Garbage men in a friends neighborhood have to chase the bears away as the pick up trash on garbage days. The bears come out since the large green trash cans are unsecured along the road and the bears see "free" meals on wheels... Think we have a problem...
Ya, we stopped feeding em and they started showing up at different times like day time or morning compared to at night. Then they stopped showing up completely. But did notice while the bears are around, huge lack of deer.
