2x a day, 4 seconds each spin

i run mine at 8 am for 4 seconds.. I want the game to come in fighting for it.. if you leave too much on the ground or run it at night and day with all that corn you will have bears.. Just from my experience ... Everyone does it different depending on where they hunt, what they are hunting, and how much money they want to spend!

how much it holds, how much it dispenses per second and how often you are able to fill it will determine a lot. mine would go app 5 wks at 2x a day for 3 sec each and held 4 bags of corn. and all I got pics of were squirrels racoons ducks and deer in that order.

You ran your feeder at 6 seconds per day and with 4 bags of corn in it the thing only lasted 5 weeks? Doesn't sound right.. You sure you had it working right?

that does not take into account how much is thrown on the ground by squirrels sitting on the spinner and reaching in. actualy didn't need to set the spinner at all cuz the squirrels always kept about a pound on the ground.
