i see a good amount of pimy's all the time on the roads late afternoon and close to dark never seen one in the brush anywhere. now cotton mouths them bastards i realy dont care for durin any warm day or warm weather, if they just lay and let me walk i usally just let them be but if they so much as blink they get shot or smacked!
Justin lace up work boots cuz my feet won't go in the slide up type or new balance pro joggers for 45.00 at shoe carnival or flip flops most of the time. Way back I was pretty fond of deck shoes. i tried some of them snake boots but didn't care for them,they were ok in the snow though.

I wouldn't go that far,snake are everywhere. I feel more safe in snake boots but when you wade azz deep in water to go to a bayed hog they aint very comfy.Tennis shoes are light.
I knew of one guy who got bit by a cottonmouth while unhooking a bass. got him on the finger.

Once by a 3' cotton mouth, once by a 4' rattler. Both times I stepped on the snake and startled them. I think thats the only reason I got struck
