There lies the debate. Crossbow hunters already have a season,and I think there will be a lot less learning to shoot a bow. I mean why shoot a bow and arrow when you can just aim and pull like a rifle? I agree with oledr men or handicapped who can't draw a bow back anymore but then again you can get a disability permit as well for crossbow hunting.
Everone that cannot pull a bow back and shoot properly is not disabled and most do not quailfy for a disibility permit. As our country ages you will see more of this in every area.
My reason for a crossbow is I'm disable after shoulder surgery that left me with screws holding it together and in 06 I had heart surgery, I just can't use my compound bow anymore. If not for this I would love to stick with a compound bow. Frank there will be a crossbow season this year Nov. 29 - Dec. 3, 2010 . As far as I know you can use a crossbow any time of year for hogs.
