Jim, that is a 270FPS bow, was there a reason your guy did not want to get into the 300-340 FPS bows or was that another price point higher? Did it come with bolts/quiver/points? Thanks Frank
Thanks outrunner13 for the info, Frank a lot was the money issue $ 200 to $300 different' s, shots at 5o yards I don't think it's going to make that much different' s. CB came with red dot scope, quiver, and three bolts with field points. I ordered a cocking device also, now I'm going to buy some more bolts. I keep my muzzy 100,s.
Looks like they're gonna go ahead with the new crossbow during archery next year. Think I may get me one for next season. I still think it takes away from archery hunting,but I'll go with the flow.
Is that next season or now the one coming up?
Jim looks like a great bow, after you get your meat come over and get one for me or let me borrow your bow, with you there scouting of course. Going out Friday to put some stink corn out, check the game cam, put 2 more out and spread my corn till I get the feeder hung.

I agree with you, to a degree. If they do, I will be sittin in a blind with my boy lettin him pull the trigger on my Barnett, during a season he would not have had an opportunity to do so
i think the fwc combing the archery and crossbow is a good thing. i think it will get more people into hunting which should be good thing for all hunters and it mite get the older hunters back into where they cant pull a compound back and some of the younger hunter into also
