I think I've finally come across a bad Winners Choice string. (Or maybe I haven't shot it enough to get the twist out.) I've had it on my bow for several months now, and the string twist hasn't stopped. I took out the old pro view tube peep and put in a Meta Peep, but even after a couple hundred shots, it still twisting. I was thinking about getting one of those TRU-Ball Peep Aligners, the one with the solid loop, but the guy at the bow counter at Gander said that they are not very good. I have to do something. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to go back to my old reliable tube peep. At least the tube would bring the peep into alignment, even if it is a bit louder.
"walk" the strands of the string one at a time from one side to the other until the peep is in a position that will align it with your eye each time.
huh? I think I'm a little dense, cus I have no clue what ur talking about.
Compress the bow and move the strands of your sting around the peep until you get it to rotate to the eye each time you draw.
Ah...Ok. Then that means a trip to someplace that has a press that I can use. I can't justify continuing to spend $15 a pop at Gander for them to do it.
