you do need the trappers license on public land. it is 26.50......and you need it to even have more than a certain number of different furs.

been thinking about doing some trapping myself, i would definitely skin the animals for pelts. otter, bobcat, coyote, coon, and deer hide makes great...

i have found a couple. they will be in places you dont expect. i find them in dry bayheads, or swampy areas.
