I hear ya on that. My mom has never had one either. My buddy was just in ICU for 7 days and is covered in them. Glad grampa gets to come home....
Grampa finally made it home to be home with my parents anyway. jan 13 he will be 91. he is not doing very well and has lost weight. trying to feed him well and fatten him up, but he doesnt have much will left. trying to help keep him comfortable. praying for him. hard to talk about this. at least i have had a couple mornings to go to the woods and sit and think with a couple aids coming in to help a little.
My prayers are with all of you, my father went through treatment for prostrate cancer last year. There is a treatment that can attack the specific cells and not make him sick, unfortunately there are only 7 machines in the states and my father went to Virginia for about 6 months.
