i just hunt.
People rip those old wood stands out of the woods when they find them around here. I've seen more than a handful off of the closed roads out at Bull Creek. Not sure if it is FWC making a point or other hunters cleaning up the area.
Personally, I don't touch anyone else's stuff. I just note stand locations for future reference.
Ribon trails are out of control. In some places (Lake Woodruff or Lake Panasoffkee, can't remember which one) you have to write your name and the date you will be hunting the area in which you hang them. You also must remove the ribon after the hunt.
what would you do if you took down a stand and someone was walking in as you were walking out with it in your hand? Probably have a confrontation. I just leave whats not mine alone. I dont touch ribbon trails unless someone put ribbons up on my trail. I dont touch stands unless they are mine.
This is how i see it. i say "now what would i do if i caught someone doing this to me" then i think and just remind myself.

I saw those last weekend in Citrus. People wrote the hunt and the date on there. We were all like what the :censored is that lol. never seen anyone do that before
Im sorry but when i come across ribbon thats all faded and worn out i rip it off and put it in my pocket. If they are new and fresh looking i leave them alone. I have the ones that people leave a huge 3 foot tail on them. ill shorten them up for them in that case. why cant people just use GPS and mark waypoints? I mean most the areas i hunt on the different WMAs i dont need anything to get to my tree, just a light through the thick sheet
