TP's a good idea, I usualy only carry enough for 1 good clean up, guess I'll have to carry more. actualy I've become alot more selective about the shots I take, and since going for the high shoulder shot the last 6 deer or so have dropped in place. I've only had to trail deer where I went for the heart/lung shot, I've lost two deer, 1 in the rain that ran into standing water another I shot at dusk went right down and another hunter in cammo I did'nt see jumps up and yells you got him and runs to the deer where it gets up and bolts, a couple I found the following morning. none of the others ran more than 50yds and I could see/hear where they fell

You all better know what your doing before taking down ribbons. A lot of the land you hunt on belongs to timber companies and the loggers put lots of ribbons out to mark trees, even on state lands trees are always marked.

Well you can tell between a logging company marking trees and some hunters old way to his stand. Most of the time, WMAs i hunt they mark the trees to be logged with paint
