thats pretty cool ! I have only hunted jumper creek a few times back several years ago with some guys I use to hunt with but I haven't hunted there in awhile. We used to to go black powder hunting on the quota hunt. Like I said I got one spike but one of my buddies killed a real nice 6 point and i think my group got a couple hogs but nothing great. I quit hunting for awhile because of my work schedule and other things like buying a boat and started fishing every chance I got on the flats of Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs. Just really got the bug to hunt again because I went hog hunting with my brother=in=law and nephew back in December. now I can't seem to quit thinking about where I want to hunt next year !
im familiar with Half Moon, i killed my first deer there when i was 14, back when it was a club.
Halfmoon is one of WMAs that gets A LOT of attention from the state. They let farmers still run cattle out there. If you draw a permit for their you better go test your luck on a lottery ticket too 😆 I havent gotten it in the last 3 years that ive applied
