Anyone ever been out there? Thinking about checking it out. Obviously not looking for GPS coordinates to the hogs, but just wondering how anyone with experience out there has done.

I killed a spike out there about 5 or 6 years ago. during black powder season. Lots of hogs there but never got one but buddies did.

Our crew took eight hogs out of there during the dog hunt last week. Just hit the pond edges.

Been drawn a few times. Most of the 8,600 acres is swamp bottoms with some scrubs and pines on the east side near I-75. If you're lucky enough to get drawn, the best area in my opinion is on the northeast corner. I've personally seen trail cam photos of a monster in that area. The only set back to that spot is finding a tree that's not "claimed" already by 1 or 2 guys that spend a thousand dollars a year trying to get drawn. They usually get drawn for several hunts and hunt it pretty regularly for obvious reasons, there are some biggins sneakin around. It is 4 points on one side with a limited number of doe tags issued per year and it's archery only during the deer hunts. Panasoffkee is a favorite of mine. One of the biggest rubs I've ever seen on public land is from there.
