Don't know if I ever posted this before. I just made a batch for tonight's pork so I figured I would post the recipe
1 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon of a Cajun seasoning like Tony Cacherie's or any butt rub
(If you want a bbq flavor to it, you can add about 1/2 bottle bbq sauce at this point)
Heat over medium until everything is dissolved. Put it in an old ketchup bottle to dispense it. You can mix some into the batch of meat after you pull it, or put it on the table for everyone to put a squirt on their pork as it's served.
I can tell you I have cooked pork for a long time. A finishing sauce absolutely sets it above anyone elses
Sure looks good! Recipe sounds good too, but I believe I could chow down on that good lookin' pork with a piece of light bread and be "as happy as a dead pig in the sunshine" without the sauce! Treefarmer

I got a quick story for you. I never met my grandfather on dads side. He passed 2 years before I was hatched. My family has always said that he was a fanatic about lite bread. No matter what was served for a meal, he demanded lite bread on the table. Even if there was 4 different kinds of bread already served, he still had to have it
