Good
More for me to eat. :rock_on

Seriously, I took the 2 shoulders and both sets of ribs(from the one I shot Saturday) right out of the iced down cooler and threw them in the crock pot(we have a big crock pot), at 11:30. Put in one Vidalia onion chopped up, sea salt, Adobo, black pepper, garlic powder and 2 cups of chicken stock. Cooked till 6PM. Some of the best pork I've ever had. My better half likes wild pork better than store bought, and this was no exception. Might just go make a sammich in a little bit

How big was the boar? If they are in the 100 pound range I see no real difference but when they start getting big is when I tell the difference. My wife prefers wild pork over any meat,my preference is still venison but I do like me some of that other white meat as well.

hard to beat venison backstrap and tenderloin but next to that I'd take wild hog over venison anytime, and easier to butcher as well.

It's all in the head. And how it's taken care of after it's butchered. But mainly in the head.
