This was tender as could be. You have to fry it hot and quick. Over cooked and it will be rubbery and chewy

That's what I was thinking.

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

I'll try it anyways. Guy next door to our lease last year would help clean a deer just so he could ask for the heart. Never thought much of it but hopefully I can give it a try soon.
