You can get a little pencil torch from Harbor freight for like $4. Takes refillable butane. You can use that to singe off any hairs you miss
Well from experience i can tell you.. Be neat while skinning. Dont keep your hands all over the meat.
Then take the meat as soon as you cut it off the body and put it on the tailgate and clean it with a hose right there and then. Pick off every hair and keep wetting down. Do this until you see no more hair.... Then do it again.. Then when you get home put it in the sink.. DO IT AGAIN.. by then you have no hair on it.
Im at the point now where i get less and less hair on my meat each time right off the rack. So it takes practice and being neat and keep your hands off the meat while skinning.
Oh yea after you ski it wash it down real good before you even quarter it.
So guess water is the trick...thanks for the advice....
water and picking at the meat.. do each quarter separately. I learned from a good skinner..
