Tree, the only problem I see with your setup is the lack of counter space. I would need at least another table just for the crap I haul out and spread out while grinding meat. A few bowls, cutting board, knives, bags of meat etc...
The oak table is on casters, both the grinder and the stuffer are bolted to the raised portion when being used. The raised part gives enough clearance for a good sized stainless bowl to set under the grinder. Roll the mess into the kitchen and we have counter space, sinks and a place to do our ground venison and make venison-pork sausage, bulk and stuffed. Have a big piece of lexan for a cutting board that over hangs my wife's counter top by about 4" and after you set the t'stat low you have a comfortable cutting room. Treefarmer
How do you like that stuffer? They had one I believe just like it at Northern Tool last week. Thinkin about getting it
Now come on Ted. You know well the average man can't afford one that expensive.
It will last forever.
Ok i just upgraded to that one from one made in 1934 It still works. Quality will last Look for one at used restraint equipment - crags list Mostly blades and plates need replacing or upgrading
