Yea you guys are dealing with some wet stuff down there. Its dryer in some parts on my side but im still lucky to go home with dry boots.

O forgot to mention, on the way back i drove up 301 and cut through on Fish Camp rd all the way back towards cross creek and saw 4 hens all run across the rd.

They were dead again...not one gobble or peep at all. did have a hen walk up to me around 715-20 and was feeding in front of me for a few mins. She was all by her lonesome

yeah, keeping up with Scotts not easy, especialy if trying to be quiet, but that boy does some nice calling. did he bring his pimped out shotgun with the shiny finish? at my current shape I gotta hunt more with my head than my feet, not a young bull any longer, just try to act like one on a few foolish occasions and end up taking days to recover.

no slug gun yesterday. lol brought the 835 in camo. that is my turkey gun.
