Flags are flying at half staff now in Central, Florida
GobblerD and I hooked up for a lil hunt this AM and it was a good one. After bumping this bird at around 8 this morning gave him a couple hours to calm down and went back in their. After about 40 minutes of pretty hard calling from the both of us I got him to answer. A couple minutes later he answered again I looked at Doug and told him that bird is about to die in a few I also told him I was not going to call for 10 minutes or so as he was 150 or so yards to our right. About 9 minutesd or so he came on in around the corner broke into strut for a second and then started to ease in and I hammered him at about 40 yards. Here's a few pics of him. Good 3 year old though and I am happy to get him afterbeing so sick opening weekend and not being able to go.
