We are gonna process it tomorrow, and he is actually going to fly the meat back to Alaska. He is going to buy a cooler to pack it in, and since it's a small hog I am going to give him a bunch of extra I already have packaged to take so he will have a full cooler. He said his family back home is already chomping at the bit to try it as they don't have hogs up there (lucky them)
That's cool. Flying fL wild hog to Alaska. Usually the wild game meat is flying the other way.
When is he returning the favor and taking you hunting from some Alaskan game:)

I have a standing invite to go any time I want. I really want to shoot a caribou. For some reason that's on my bucket list over a moose. There are tons of both around where he is and has tried to dummy down the regs. Looks really easy but the expense and being gone from home for a long period of time are 2 things I can't do at this time in my life

Same here. Reindeer and moose. Sound like great hunts.
Great "happy place" for you till you can get that hunt but at least you've got a resident who's a friend and an invite.
Your a lucky man.
Till then eat more Fl Pork:)
Good Job!
