Looking for a rifle.....

I'd go with a lever 30-30 as my first choice, and a single shot H&R single shot in caliber of your choice second

not a bad idea, get a little 2-4-1 action going. probably be able to get 2 used but in good shape guns for the same $ as a rem or browning. scope the single shot and open sights for the lever. + have 1 as a back up or loaner.

I like both the 30-30, and the carbine. Might have to get both just to see which one she likes!

I just bought a Browning X-Bolt Micro Hunter in 7mm-08 for the little woman. She's had it about a month now and absolutely loves it. It's light, has a slightly shorter length of pull and a 20" barrel. It handles well and doesn't kick much at all.

Thats what im hoping she wants
