Hey guys, I saw a Marlin 336 stainless steel at Dick's sporting goods for 400 dollars. Is that a good rifle compare to the regular blued finish?

You sure it was the Marlin? I have a catalog that shows the Rossi brand 30-30 in stainless. I haven't been in the store to check, so I may be wrong.

Im sure it was a Marlin 336. Because I looked over and over again. lol

They both make a stainless version. The Rossi is brand new so they are advertising it alot. Stainless is more durable in wet weather, but if you take care of it either one would be fine. Marlin makes a very good gun.
