K, you mean green laser or light? the green lasers are more powerfull/effective than the red ones supposedly. and put on an AR should be a bad mutha at night.
nacho, a green light. Laser will come later. lol. from what i understand, using a green light allows you to see further with less energy. won't have to carry a car battery around to see 100 yds with a red light. lol
Pretty sure illegal to hunt with a laser...
- A green light is to help preserve your night vision, thus letting you see around you better, not to help you see farther.
- Any light bright enough to illuminate more than 10-12 feet in front of you is going to be bright enough to be seen by (and possibly spook) any animal out there.

Went out last weekend on thursday hunted the evening major p and waited until about 10 then went for a walk towards this baited area and heard some gruntin and looked down the pathway and from about 150 yards and could make out some dark moving objects..d it
The night-vision unit has a IR light on the end and it wasn't until about 75yards that the eyes lit up and could see both if them were more then 150. I put turned on the ret and said to myself.....man i dont wanna clean this pig out at 11pm...
So
I decided to see how close i could get.. Im not new to hunting but i am also not too experienced either , so i decide to see how close i can get and not shoot them...moon was behind me so maybe the backdrop oulined me but i was on the tree edge..
So i watch the bigger one run to woods edge and turn and look right at me and to m amazement they turn in the thickest brush EVER and i dont hear a friggin bush move....wtf.... so i search the woods and cannot see any eyes..
ok so its about 11 and i got get up at 7 in the morn..
O well another day..
the property has the pigs just for some reason they like the night...
This is a not to bad scope with a green laser..
Green laser was funny at night totally visible and even had a racoon chasin the hell out of it....man that was fnny as hell..
