Was thinking of doing some night ops with a red lens spotlight. Any thoughts or experience would be welcome. Thanks

Unless you have a gun and light permit, it is illegal(even on private land).
However, you may legally hunt them at night(private land) using naturally available light, like moonlight

kind of stupid law to be able to only use moonlight and not a spotlight unless you have a permit. seems like it would be much safer to be able to see what your shooting at with a strong light

ordering me a green light today, for my rifle. but i am on a gun and light permit. have done alot of research and green seems to be the way to go.
