The funny thing about this one is we never smelled it, But it walked down the pasture like it owned it.
maybee he took an "irish spring shower" like i take before i get out hunting.. LOL.. no more of that for me.. this year its scent control!
I cant say enough about sent controll. Most of my hunting is stalking and the wind and sent is the key to success. I had a hog last year come through a pasture that I had just walked through and stopped put his nose to the air and run back the way he came. where I was at he could not have smelled me. H knew were I walked though. Now on the way to my spot I find the nearest cow patty and rub my boots in it and a simple thing like that has raised my success ratio.
im a big fan of having my hunting gear and clothing smell like camp fire.. id leave my back and cloths and boots by a camp fire to get the smell all over it.. that smell will stay on ther for months if not a year if you didnt clean the clothing.
AS soon as I come out of the woods I bag my clothes and change. No campfire smoke if I can help it.
