Went out dog hunting again and ended up walking around 8 miles with nothing!! Then My strike dog and Timothy's strike dog both lit up. They chased the bad boy for around 400 yds and my Hank dog caught up to him and put the breaks on for him!! We caught him at 1:17 AM and got back to the truck at 3:30 AM. I decided that I would have him mounted as he is the best trophy hog we have ever caught out there on the island!!
his tusk measure 3.75 on the longest side and 3.25 on the other side 😎 Oh yea he weighed 247lbs!!

good stuff man.. SO with dogs.. you just walk around and they get the sent and find them hiding in the palmettos? When im hunting i just stand there sometimes looking at the palmattos and say to myself "i know they are just laying there and i cant see them, but they can see me". So the dogs take the guess work out of it?

Ok just curious I use to run dogs but no loner do. I know some places that are great areas for that. But no longer have the dogs thats why I asked.
