I would say, no
As your caliber size decreases, your margin for error decreases as well. Its all about putting a bullet in the right place.
Even a bad shot with a big gun like a 300 or 7mm usually ends up in a lost animal
Nice job, Thats why I like my 243 its nocks them down as well.
I macerated this skull for 10 days (cut head off, tossed it in a bucket, filled with water, put lid on, set in sunny spot with concrete block on top)
At 10 days, everything had come off. Poured off water/sludge then started degreasing
A squirt of dish soap, a handfull of Arm & hammer "super washing soda", and a few ounces of wallyMart degreaser, filled bucket with water
Changed the water, rinsed off and redid this process about once a week or so
A few days ago, I rinsed it off and covered in cheap H2O2.(4 bottles covered it)
I think its done. Ill let it sit in the sun all day today and make sure it has no grease spots. There is some yellow on the cutters and whetters still. Then Ill glue the teeth in and put it somewhere in the house. lol
This is the only way to do skulls, IMHO
