I started my log because my bud showed his from his carter bus. His log showed 6 months straight at sea over a 3 year period.
Well i logged approximately 700 lbs of gross fish. 4 deer don't remember how many hogs squirrel duck or others.

I should say the fish was what came in the boat. On my boat all fish that are caught belong to the boat no single person caught that fish. It kinda difficult to run a boat, man a rod and gaffe a fish by your self. I know because I have done it.. So all fish are split evenly after the trip.

The more you go fishing or hunting the better you know what your prey is doing.

I used to try and figure out what deer were gonna be doing/feeding and where they would be at certain times according to temp, moon phases, atmos pressures, dates etc. came to the conclusion they go where they want, always ended up seeing them where they weren't supposed to be and each theory was proven wrong. wasted a lot of time imo. I did notice once season opens and pressure is on smart ones will congregate where no hunting is allowed, cemeteries, church properties, airports, resedential areas, right up near farmer Browns house, have even seen them inside peoples garages (that left there doors open). once the rut is on rules (if any) go out the window. as for feeding I think they key in on what tastes best to them, is readily available and safe for them to get to while ignoring some others you'd think they would surely go to. apples where a real treat but think they were more of a desert. acorns and corn were big on the diet if cornfields nearby, but most stomachs I opened to see were primarily full of grass, but that was up north.

I find depending on time of years palm berries heavily in the bellies Acorn pieces. Tips of certain swamp grass and ferns. If your there enough and your not in a fixed stand you can fallow then and find were there traveling.
